Technology partner programme for ISVs, integrators, and POS platforms

One integration, a full payments stack. PXP gives technology partners in-store and online payment acceptance, smart routing, fraud tools and real-time data through a single API.

Who we partner with

Companies building the software merchants rely on
to run their business.

  • Independent software vendors
  • POS platform providers
  • ERP and accounting system developers
  • Middleware companies
  • System integrators

Your users expect payments to be built in. They need to accept transactions, reconcile revenue, and access clear reporting inside the tools they already use. PXP's technology partner model is designed to allow you to solve this with a single integration.

Building payments into your platform is harder than it should be

Users want payments built into the tools they already use, but building a payment capability means managing acquiring relationships, compliance obligations, API maintenance, and reconciliation complexity that sits outside your core product roadmap.

However, pointing merchants towards separate payment providers creates a fractured experience. Multiple vendors, dashboards, and support channels weaken the value of a platform by forcing users to step outside it.

The PXP platform is built to solve these challenges for technology partners. One integration brings in complete payment capabilities, structured around a commercial model that turns payment volume into revenue for your business.

How our technology partnerships work

Technology partners integrate with PXP through our API, a single connection that unlocks the full PXP platform for their merchants. Integration can be structured to match the technical architecture of your platform: REST API, SDK, webhook-based event flows, or local HTTP.

Once integrated, your merchants get access to:

In-store payment acceptance

Standalone and integrated POS terminals, Tap+ contactless solutions, virtual terminal, and SoftPOS on Android devices. PXP terminals are acquirer-agnostic and built on Castles Saturn hardware.

Online payment acceptance

Offer hosted checkout, component-based integration, API-direct, and payment links, whichever fits your merchants' digital environment. Handle all transaction types across global markets.

Smart routing and multi-acquirer access

Transactions route automatically to the acquirer most likely to approve them. Your users get higher approval rates without managing multiple acquiring relationships themselves. If one acquirer underperforms, routing adjusts without downtime.

3DS authentication and fraud tools

3DS 2.2 service, tokenisation, risk scoring, and velocity checks are built into the platform. Offer your users bank-grade security without a separate fraud vendor contract or requiring them to step outside your platform.

Real-time data and reporting

PXP Data gives your platform and users a real-time view of transaction performance, approval rates, revenue trends, and reconciliation data across all channels and acquirers. Custom queries, scheduled reports, and transaction-level drilldowns are available from a single dashboard.

Alternative payment methods

Our APMs cover open banking, Buy Now Pay Later, and regional APMs. Surface them in your checkout or terminal flow without individual integrations to best enable your users.

Built around your volume

Technology partners earn revenue share on the transaction volume their users process through PXP. As your user base grows and transaction volume increases, the commercial relationship scales with it.

Revenue share is structured for the lifetime of the customer relationship, we do not re-paper merchants or stop paying partners after a set term.

Partner tools built for your operation

PXP Launchpad gives technology partners a central place to manage their merchant portfolio,
track performance, and run their sales operation.

Rapid onboarding

One branded application routes across every acquirer, with eKYC, eSign, and banking validation built in. The real-time risk engine assesses merchant details on submission, adjusts the application dynamically, and directs it to the acquirer most likely to approve.

Multiple acquirers

Optimize your application through our panel of multiple acquirers. Improve approval rates, reduce downtime, increase leverage, and ensure transactions are following the most effective route automatically.

Terminal financing included

Rental agreements include built-in terminal financing, reducing the upfront cost barrier for merchants and supporting partner cashflow.

Branded from day one

Your brand stays front and centre. Launchpad's application flows, terminal experience, and marketing materials are all co-branded so your clients see a consistent experience under your name.

Built for teams that need flexibility and speed

PXP's developer platform is designed to reduce integration time and support ongoing development as your platform evolves.

Full REST API documentation is available at developer.pxp.io. Sandbox access, testing environments, and a native Kotlin SDK for in-store integration are all available before you go live. Our technical partner team supports integration, certification, and ongoing development questions.

Flexible APIs and real-time webhooks keep your platform and PXP's systems in sync. If you need a custom integration for a specific data platform, CRM, or internal system, our engineering team can build it.

Let's talk about what our collaboration could look like

Every technology partnership starts with understanding your platform and how PXP's capabilities fit into it. Our partnerships and technical teams can walk you through the integration options, commercial structure, and what your merchants would access.

FAQ

What integration options are available?

Technology partners can integrate through PXP's REST API, native Kotlin SDK, local HTTP REST calls, or webhook-based event flows. The integration path depends on your platform architecture and whether you're building for in-store, online, or both.

Do my merchants need separate contracts with the different acquirers?

No. PXP manages acquiring relationships. Your merchants sign with PXP, and smart routing handles which acquirer processes their transactions based on performance, geography, and card type. Merchants don't need to manage acquirer relationships directly.

How long does integration typically take?

It varies depending on complexity and which products you're integrating. PXP's technical team supports the process from scoping through testing and certification. Sandbox access is available immediately.

What are the hardware options for in-store integration?

PXP uses Castles Android-based Saturn terminals. They're acquirer-agnostic, meaning the hardware doesn't need to change if routing changes. Contract terms run from 12 to 48 months, and asset finance options are available.

How is commission structured?

Revenue share is calculated on the transaction volume your merchants process. It's tracked automatically through Launchpad and paid for the lifetime of each customer relationship. PXP does not re-paper merchants or end commission after a set period.
